Forum Books is an award-winning, independent bookshop in the heart of Corbridge, Northumberland, stocking an eye-popping range of handpicked books – in short we love books as much as you do! In late February this year, we moved into a unique new premises – The Chapel – bringing our two bookshops under one roof as well as a flexible space for author events, book clubs, workshops etc. in the evenings. Events are a BIG part of what Forum Books do – we are the official bookseller at Radio 3 Free Thinking & Newcastle Noir – and host 40-50 authors every year.

Just hitting the shelves is Benjamin Myers Under The Rock: The Poetry of Place – a beautiful, lyrical and powerful book, his prose is first rate, bold and original. Under The Rock is a genuinely beautiful thing.
Chloe Daykin’s The Boy Who Hit Play is a wonder! The only thing that Elvis Crampton Lucas knows about where he’s from is that he was found on a bench at a zoo … now that he’s older it is time for Elvis to find out who left him there and why..? We really loved Fish Boy and this is (dare I say… even better?) funny, friendly, complex, rhythmic – and can’t wait to press this book into the happy hands of keen readers of all ages!
