Josie Darling is Julia Darling’s younger sister. She is a clinical nurse specialist in palliative care, and an acupuncturist. She has four children (mostly grown up) and lives in Brighton. She has always loved reading and creative writing and improv. She has written some plays and short stories which she has been successful with. She has written a novel she is not happy with and meets once a week in Waterstones Bookshop to write with friends in their Nibbles and Scribbles group. She is in an improv group called the Short and Girlies, and another one called The Mirthworms.
Josie Darling said: “I am very honoured to be a judge in this competition in my wonderful sister’s name, and she would be so pleased.”
