Get into Writing: Submit to magazines

When you’ve got some work you’re happy with, you’ll probably be keen to start getting it out there – building up a publication history is essential if you’re considering writing as a career (and it’s just plain fun if not).

There are loads of brilliant publications that provide a platform for emerging writers, and we’ve helpfully compiled a handy list of some of our other favourites below. Before you send your work in, make sure you READ THE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES and follow them to the letter –it’ll make it much more likely that your writing will be published.

The Adroit Journal

Features fiction, poetry and art. Started by a high school student in 2010.
