Summer Filmmaking Sessions: South Shields

Hoping to see out the summer bursting with ideas and creative energy? Then join New Writing North Young Writers for this year’s summer programme at The Word as part of the Write Festival 2022. During the programme you will work with professional filmmakers to explore writing and devising for film, finishing up with a group screening at the end of the three days. Whether you’re already a keen writer or just looking to try something new, we’d love to see you there!

During term-time we run a weekly Young Writers Group at The Word, every Saturday from 11am-1pm. Our summer programme is a great way to meet other young writers and find out more about our regular young writers’ programmes.
