Summer Writing Sessions: Sunderland

Tuesday 26 – Thursday 28 July, 10:30am-3:30pm each day

Venue: Harry Watts Room, Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens

Open to: ages 12-19

This summer in Sunderland we’re programming a jam-packed line-up of creative writing sessions to spark your imagination! Across three days we’ll be exploring lots of different writing forms, from fiction to script to poetry, taking inspiration from the stories within the Museum as well as your own interests. No previous experience is necessary, if you enjoy stories and writing then we’d love to see you there!

Please note places for these summer sessions are limited to young people living in Sunderland. During term-time we run a weekly Young Writers Group in Sunderland City Library, every Saturday from 11am-1pm. Our summer programme is a great way to meet other young writers and find out more about our regular young writers’ programmes.
