Annie Garthwaite in Conversation | New Writing North Book Club

Join us for our final online Book Club event!

We’ll be hosting writer Annie Garthwaite to talk about her remarkable debut novel Cecily: an epic feminist retelling of the War of the Roses. We’ll be asking Annie all about the process of researching and writing this impressive book, and diving deep into the formidable character of Cecily, ‘Mother of Kings’. The discussion will be chaired by NWN Programme Producer and writer, Kathryn Tann, and there will be opportunity for attendees to ask the author their own questions.
