Northern Writers’ Awards: Hachette Roadshow

New Writing North and Hachette Children’s Group are delighted to host an online roadshow dedicated to supporting children’s writers. Join us for an evening of insight and expertise with former winners, this year’s judges and staff from Hachette and New Writing North as part of this year’s Northern Writers’ Awards.

We’ll be joined for our first panel by the literary agent Lauren Gardner, writer and editor Rachel Faturoti and Senior Commissioning Editor Polly Lyall Grant for a discussion between this year’s award judges. Professionals from Hachette will offer advice on a special panel about demystifying the publication process, while former winners of the Hachette Children’s Novel Award will share their journey from aspiring writers to published authors. Our event will be relevant for new, emerging and established writers with an interest in writing for children and there will opportunities for you to put your own questions forward.
