Christmas with Cuckoo Young Writers

Last Saturday marked the start of Christmas at New Writing North, when a team of four Cuckoo Young Writers got together with Trashed Organ’s John Challis and Melanie Rashbrooke to begin working on their twisted Christmas tales. This project is the first of what we hope will become an exciting new partnership for 2013, with the young writers getting involved with the writing, performing and programming of future Trashed Organ nights.
Their stories of melted snowmen, broken baubles and fallen angels will be performed on 12 December, as part of Trashed Organ’s Broken Christmas Cabaret at Live Theatre. For details and tickets, go to www.live.org.uk/whats-book/brokenchristmascabaret.
