Creative Writing for Teachers – Durham

Creative Writing for Teachers is a five-month CPD course which inspires teaching professionals to write. Led by professional writers across a range of genres, participants meets monthly to experiment with new styles and develop confidence in their own writing. Teachers from across all subjects and age ranges are welcome. No prior experience of creative writing is necessary.
This academic year, New Writing North will be running two courses: one in Durham commencing in November 2019; and one in Gateshead commencing in March 2020. Bookings are now open for our Durham course.
The Durham course will take place at Belmont Community School, from 4:30–6:30pm on the following dates:
