Tees Valley TV Pilot Scratch Night

The TV Pilot Scratch Night is coming to the Tees Valley! Hear script-in-hand readings of the opening pages of four new TV pilots from Tees Valley screenwriters, alongside live constructive feedback from an industry panel chaired by Lisa Laws, Development Director at North East Screen. This is a great chance for aspiring and experienced screenwriters alike to see the script development process in action, get insight from professionals, and discover some of the exciting new work coming from writers in the Tees Valley.

If you are a Tees Valley (Middlesbrough, Darlington, Stockton, Hartlepool, Redcar and Cleveland) based screenwriter and would like your work to be considered for the event, please submit the first 10 pages of script and a paragraph to add context to the work (for example the pilot outline and character biogs) to [email protected] by 5 November 2025.
