This event is for anyone interested in writing for television. You may already be working on a script or just beginning to consider if this is a world you’d like to know more about. Our panels of writers and producers will discuss how to turn ideas into scripts, what writers need to do to get their work out there and the kind of stories that have resonance for audiences. We will hear from specialist speakers about the different types of drama being made, including continuing drama, and you will have an opportunity to network and share ideas.

Panels at the event will include: writer afshan d’souza-lodhi and script executive and former Head of Development at Rope Ladder Fiction, Hannah Lee talking about how to write a script that producers want to read and how to get it in front of them (chaired by Shaun Wilson); and writer and story liner Nana-Kofi Kufuor and seasoned script editor Hannah Mason discussing writing continuing drama and how to write collaboratively (chaired by Sarah France).

You will have the opportunity to network and ask questions.
