Laura Fraine looks after everything marketing, media and social media for New Writing North and its associated projects, including Durham Book Festival, Northern Writers’ Awards, Read Regional, Mayfly and The Gordon Burn Prize.

Carys Vickers
Carys moved into the newly created Marketing and Communications Officer role in March 2023, after previously working with New Writing North as Digital Marketing Intern in 2021 and Finance and Operations Assistant in 2022. She coordinates social media and newsletters and provides marketing support across NWN's programmes. She has a BA in American Studies from Northumbria University.
