Research and Programme Manager (A Writing Chance)

Sarah France joined New Writing North as Research Associate for A Writing Chance in 2023. She moved into the role of Research and Programme Manager in 2024, managing the programme delivery and supporting the research and evaluation strategies of the programme. She recently submitted her Ph.D. at Newcastle University, which examined contemporary climate change fictions, extinction, and the Anthropocene. As part of her Ph.D., she conducted an AHRC-funded 4-month placement at New Writing North, working primarily with the Talent Development Team.
