Projects Manager (Talent and Creative Programme)

Francoise (Fran) Harvey joined New Writing North as Projects Manager (Talent and Creative Programme) in 2026, having previously provided freelance support for the Talent Development team and various projects. She has held positions as a library engagement assistant, a production editor for a national writing magazine and in legal publishing. She is a director of a music collective in Darlington. She continues to also work as a freelance event and writing facilitator, a subeditor, and as a writer herself.
