Do you want this city to be better?
A place that offers more things to do and see and places to go for young people like you?

Then come and join songwriters Liz Corney and Calum Howard to create a song which explores your practical and fantasy ideas for rebuilding the city to a utopia for young people to live their best lives.

– The Summer school is open to children aged 11 and over who get free school meals and are signed up to the Brighten the Day scheme – Gateshead Council’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. You have to sign your child up on the ‘Holiday activities.com’ app. Contact the Brighten the Day team here if you need support.
– It is free of cost.
– Your child needs to attend every day of the project.
– A hot meal and snacks will be provided each day.
– Your child will need to be dropped off and picked up from the venue.
