Northern Talent Network: Writers’ Room Workshop

As writers’ rooms are becoming more common in the UK, this two-part workshop led by Tiger Aspect Development Producer Saima Ferdows (Bad Education) will allow you to experience what they are and how they work. These online sessions will simulate writers’ rooms, giving participants a sense of what to expect when working in a collaborative environment where ideas are collectively shared and developed. They are especially of interest to screenwriters developing comedy and comedy drama scripts.

Please note that participation in this opportunity is by application and spaces are limited. To take part, you must commit to both workshops and be willing to contribute to the sessions. The workshop leader will set a brief for the participants to explore in the sessions so you will not be developing your own original ideas. Apply by 26 January 2024.
