A new look for the New Year for Cuckoo Young Writers groups

Posted by

2013 is starting with a bang, with a new look for our Cuckoo Young Writers groups.

We’ve now got a team of roving Cuckoo writers who will move between the groups each month, which will mean our young writers have more variety and a greater opportunity to try out different forms and genres of writing.

Over the coming months expect everything from scriptwriting to blogging, sci-fi to sonnets! And as well as working on specific projects in each meeting, there will still be a chance to get feedback from the group leaders on writing you bring along too.

The first meetings of 2013 take place Saturday 12 January in our usual locations of Hexham, Durham and Newcastle (details below) and then fortnightly after that. Groups run between 11am-1pm and welcome young writers aged between 12-19. They are free to attend and new members are welcome to attend any session.
