Ann Cleeves launches Harbour Street

New Writing North and Northumbria University invite you to join us at Gallery North, on Thursday 13 February 6.30pm-8pm, to celebrate the publication of best-selling author Ann Cleeves’ new novel, Harbour Street.
Ann Cleeves’ gripping new novel, featuring well-loved DI Vera Stanhope, begins in a snow-covered Newcastle and explores what happens when a community closes ranks to protect their own – and at what point silent witnesses become complicit in a crime.
Following drinks and canapés, this special launch event will see Ann reading from Harbour Street and signing copies of the book afterwards.
We are delighted that Ann will also help us launch Crime Story, an exciting weekend of discussion and workshops focusing on a fictional crime she has written especially for us. Crime Story, produced in partnership with Northumbria University will feature a host of top crime writers, criminologists, lawyers, police and forensics experts and will take place on the Northumbria campus between 31 May-1 June.
