Author donation funds Young Writers’ programme in Amble

We are incredibly grateful to the author LJ Ross, who has donated £6,500 to fund our Amble Young Writers programme. The generous donation will fund the programme for a whole year, including our 3-day summer school this August and free weekly writing workshops every Saturday in term-time at Amble Library.
LJ Ross is the author of the international #1 best-selling series of DCI Ryan mystery novels. Her debut, Holy Island, was released in January 2015 and reached number one in the Amazon Kindle UK bestsellers chart. Since then, she has released a further seven novels in the DCI Ryan series, all of which have been top three bestsellers. The latest in the series is Seven Bridges. LJ Ross recently moved back to her native Northumberland.
