Durham Book Festival draws to a close

Posted by

Durham Book Festival has now ended for another year. We’d like to thank everyone who attended and all our fantastic guests, supporters and volunteers, who all made this year’s festival such a great success.

We had over 60 events over two weeks, in locations as varied as Durham Cathedral, the Gala Theatre, the Bowes Museum and Durham Town Hall – and, without exception, we loved every event.

If you’d like to tell us what you thought of this year’s festival, Durham County Council have put together a questionnaire at www.surveymonkey.com/s/7FCXSLD. It shouldn’t take more than ten minutes to complete and there’s a prize of £100 worth of shopping vouchers up for grabs. If you have any other comments you’d like to make, please do email us on [email protected].

You can see a selection of photos from this year’s event on our Flickr site and we’ll also be putting up selected audio recordings from the festival soon – we’ll let you know when they’re ready for download, so you can catch up on any events you may have missed.

Thank you to all of you who came along, and we look forward to offering you another great line-up next year.
