Intermediate Creative Writing Courses in Libraries
This summer we’ll be hosting four-week intermediate creative writing courses in Morpeth Library and Jesmond Library.
Keep Writing is ideal for those with some experience in creative writing, who are looking to develop their craft and take their writing to the next level.
These creative writing courses will be delivered by award-winning professional writers, David Mark and Laura Fish. Over four weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to build your writing skills and develop as a writer.

Creative Writing Workshops at Morpeth Library
Best-selling novelist David Mark helps writers to tell their stories in an environment of positivity, encouragement and shared imagination. David, a former crime journalist, will lead workshops focusing on inspiration, plot, character, style – and keeping going.

Creative Writing Workshops at Jesmond Library
Through weekly workshops led by an award-winning writer, you’ll have the opportunity to read and respond to other writers’ work in progress and to receive feedback on your own work from the tutor and the rest of the group.
