Newbiggin Hall Creates

Newbiggin Hall Creates is a programme of creative activity in the Newbiggin Hall Estate in the Outer West of Newcastle. We have been working with local residents and partner organisations in this area since 2022 to co-create cultural activity for the community, including an artist residency, weekly young people’s groups, schools’ programmes, storytelling projects and community events.

Newbiggin Hall Creates brings people together and makes the voices of residents heard to create the change they want to see for their community. The programme is led by our current Artist in Residence, Louie Ingham.

The project is funded by Paul Hamlyn Foundation and includes a skills development strand supported by the North of Tyne Combined Authority.
