The Poetry Book Society is proud to present readings from three exceptional poets.

Mary Jean Chan is the author of Flèche (Faber, 2019), which won the Costa Book Award for Poetry and was shortlisted for numerous awards including the International Dylan Thomas Prize and the Seamus Heaney Centre First Collection Poetry Prize. They are currently a judge for the 2023 Booker Prize.

Kit  Fan‘s third poetry collection is the Forward Prize-shortlisted The Ink Cloud Reader. His second collection As Slow As Possible was a PBS Recommendation, and his first collection Paper Scissors Stone won the Hong Kong University International Poetry Prize. His debut novel is Diamond Hill.

Jen Campbell is an award-winning poet and bestselling author from the North East. She has won the Jane Martin Poetry Prize, an Eric Gregory Award, and the Spelt Poetry Competition 2022 for her poem ‘The Hospital Is Not My House’ from Please Do Not Touch This Exhibit. Jen’s event contribution will be via video.
