Join writers Natasha Solomons and Isabelle Schuler as they discuss how they have read, researched and written between the lines, giving new voice to two very different female characters from Shakespeare and re-examining the stories we thought we knew…
Natasha Solomons is the author of seven internationally bestselling novels, including The Novel in the Viola, which was a Richard & Judy Book Club pick. Her work has been translated into seventeen languages, and Fair Rosaline – a powerful ‘untelling’ – is her latest work.
Isabelle Schuler is a Swiss Hawaiian-American actress, writer and former bookseller. Her debut novel, Lady MacBethad, is a suspenseful, sweeping historical epic which tells the origin story of the woman who inspired one of Shakespeare’s most iconic characters.
