Six weeks of 90-minute writing workshops to help you bring your children’s story to life

Start Writing for Children is an introductory six week writing course for anyone interested in writing for children. Whether you’re starting from scratch or already have an idea for a children’s book, you’ll work with middle grade author Karon Alderman to think about how to bring your story to life.

A limited number of free tickets are available to people for whom the cost is prohibitive. Please contact Margot Miltenberger [email protected]

“The sessions have given me a number of new tools I can draw on. It was all very helpful and enjoyable.”
