Festive readings on BBC Radio from Kate Fox
Posted by
Poet Kate Fox has two festive radio helpings broadcast in advance of her new collection, Fox Populi, out in February. You can catch her on BBC Radio 2 on Christmas Eve, 9pm in It’s Grimm Up North, a special show to mark the 200th anniversary of the publication of the Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales, giving them a modern setting and a northern twist.
The programme features Ian MacMillan, Harry Pearson, Stuart Maconie, Joanne Harris, Elvis McGonagall, Chris Priestley, Mike Harding and others as well as Kate. Then on BBC Radio 4 on Christmas Day at noon, Kate will be on With Great Pleasure at Christmas, presented by Fi Glover. Kate will be reading one of her own poems and some of Fi’s other festive picks.
