Geordie Sinatra takes to the stage at Live

Posted by

Fiona Evans’ new play, Geordie Sinatra, opens at Live Theatre from 18 April-12 May. Produced in association with New Writing North, the show is a dark comedy that gets under the skin of dementia. Alongside the production, New Writing North has been working with three writers – Fiona, Rebecca Jenkins and Romi Jones – on a project that explores the uses of creative writing with people suffering from dementia.

On Wednesday 25 April we are presenting a conversation between the writers and scientists from Newcastle Science City to look at the ethical, medical and social issues around dementia and what role culture might have to play. The event is free and tickets can be booked on 0191 232 1232 or online at www.live.org.uk
