Gothic (1986) screenwriter special offer in Newcastle

A screening of Ken Russell’s 1986 film Gothic, which chronicles the ‘birth’ of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, is taking place Friday 17 June, 7pm, in the Great Hall of Newcastle Castle Keep. The film will be followed by a discussion with screenwriter Stephen Volk, and tickets are available for a special discount rate of £10 each to New Writing North members (normal price: £13).
