Trashed Organ and GemArts present an evening of South Asian literature with readings by three prize-winning poets: Moniza Alvi, Arundhathi Subramaniam and Amali Rodrigo. The reading will be followed by a discussion led by Dr James Procter of Newcastle University.

Arundhathi will also deliver a poetry workshop on poetry and identity during the day at Newcastle University. Both events take place on Thursday 14 July and are presented as part of the GemArts Masala Festival. Tickets and more information can be found here.
