New Cuckoo Young Writers group in South Shields

You might have noticed there’s a brilliant new library in South Shields and we’re excited to be taking over Openzone in The Word every Saturday from 1-3pm starting 19 November. Come along and channel your inner Stephen King to explore Dark Fiction with crime and horror writer Matt Wesolowski and group leader James Whitman.
Think horror and dystopian futures and create your own dark fiction. This is our brand new Cuckoo group so if you’ve never been to a group before we’d love to see you there! Don’t forget we have FIVE other Cuckoo groups across the North East. You can check them out here. All groups are free to join and you can attend as many or as few sessions as you want.
We’re also offering free taster sessions to local schools in the area so we can show you all how brilliant our weekly workshops are, so teachers in South Tyneside should get in touch!
