With the Northern Writers’ Awards recognising work-in-progress; scratch nights; book launches; creative writing courses and a summer proof party, the Summer Season at New Writing North is all about championing new voices and celebrating the next big thing.
We’re excited to be extending our programme of events and activities in the North East and online. Whether it’s attending a literary event for the first time, taking part in a creative writing group, or discovering a debut author, there are loads of ways to try something new this summer. And if you know, or are, a young person, don’t miss our packed Young Writers’ Summer programme, which is free to join at venues across the North East.
