New Writing North Young Writers’ Groups are Back!
Are you young? Love writing? Live in the North East? Perfect recipe for getting involved with one of our Young Writers’ groups!
Our Young Writers’ creative writing groups take place on Saturdays during term-time in Newcastle, Cramlington, Amble and South Shields, and we have a brand new songwriting group in Newcastle, which meets on a Wednesday evening. Whichever group you choose, it doesn’t matter if you’ve already filled several notebooks or you’d just like to have a go – everyone’s welcome!
Each of our groups is led by a friendly creative facilitator. Throughout the year, visiting professional writers will deliver masterclasses on the topics and genres of your choosing, making sure you stretch yourself and absorb new skills as you work on new and exciting projects. The groups are creative, supportive environments where you can get feedback on your work, try out new styles of writing and make lasting friendships with other talented young writers.
So, if you’re aged between 12-19, get yourself down to one of the hubs listed below!
