Read Regional 2020 begins

From March to June each year, the annual Read Regional campaign celebrates selected new books from the North of England. At libraries and literary festivals across the North, authors take part in events where you can hear about their writing and talk to them about their work.
Our 2020 line-up includes cutting edge debut fiction writers Yvonne Battle-Felton and Lara Williams, bestselling thriller writers Linda Green and Oliver Harris, and acclaimed poets Hafsah Aneela Bashir and Keith Hutson. There’s also inspirational travel writing from Horatio Clare and psychological drama from CJ Cooke; forbidden historical romance from Clara Barley and magical children’s fiction from James Nicol.
