Northern Writers’ Awards roadshows: December and January

Posted by

To launch this year’s application season for the Northern Writers’ Awards, we’ll be touring to four northern cities to meet writers who are thinking of entering the awards, or who just want more information about them.

You may have written a script, novel, or collection of poems, or have a story idea that you just don’t know what to do with – this is the event for you.

The Northern Writers’ Awards are open to both new and experienced writers, and this year includes a special new award – the Channel 4/Northumbria University Award – for people interested in writing for television.

You will hear from and meet script editors and TV producers who are interested in diverse new stories from the North of England, previous winners of the Northern Writers’ Awards who’ve gone on to great success, and the team at New Writing North who manage the awards.

Places are limited and are first come, first served. Although the roadshow events are free, booking is mandatory.
