Read Regional spreads wings across the North

On Thursday 20 September, we launched this year’s Read Regional campaign, which connects local readers to books by local authors through a series of promotional events in libraries and bookshops throughout the North. This year, the scheme has been expanded into Yorkshire and Humberside for the first time and yesterday we unveiled our Baker’s Dozen of 13 authors from the North East and Yorkshire who will be in the spotlight over the coming months.
The writers involved are a mix of new and more established novelists and poets, and they’ll be taking part in events across the North between now and May 2013. Find out more and find an event near you at www.readregional.com.
