“I’m over the moon to be working with New Writing North, as everything about their message and mission appeals to me. As a local girl from Wallsend with a passion for English literature and the written word, I could not be happier being part of an organisation that has the arts, literature and writing in the North East at the very heart of it. I am a huge advocate for the North East and believe we are an absolute powerhouse for writing talent, and I am so pleased to be part of an organisation that fuels and nurtures that talent. It’s not so grim up North.”
