Dr Caroline Murphy

Caroline Murphy is an independent consultant.
Over the past 25 years Caroline has held a variety of leadership roles in the cultural sector, focussing on strategic and business planning, equality and diversity, cross sector partnerships, audience engagement and impact assessment.
Caroline has also worked in higher education, leading cross sector cultural partnerships in her role at Northumbria University. Her doctoral research focused on the pedagogy of creative writing and the positioning of writing and writers in educational policy.
She has been a member of the New Writing North board since 2014.
