Laura Fraine

Senior Marketing & Communications Manager

Laura Fraine manages marketing and communications at New Writing North, overseeing a wide range of work from print and design to websites, newsletters and social media. She is the PR contact for all of NWN’s programmes, including Durham Book Festival, Northern Writers’ Awards, The Gordon Burn Prize and The David Cohen Prize for Literature.

Laura joined New Writing North in 2014, having previously worked as a journalist on regional, trade and national titles. She holds a BA in English Literature and an MA in Modern and Contemporary Studies (British and American Literature and Film), both from Newcastle University.
