Wendy Goodwin

Programme Manager (Young People & Communities)

Wendy joined New Writing North in January 2025 as Programme Manager (Young People & Communities). She works across a range of school and community situated programmes, overseeing the projects based in Newcastle, North and South Tyneside.

Wendy has had a varied career within the Arts as a Performer, Freelance Facilitator, Educator and Volunteer Manager, working within mainstream and SEN provisions and community settings.

Wendy graduated from Sunderland University where she gained a BA (Hons) in Creative Arts Studies and Sheffield Hallam University, where she gained a PGCE.
