Welcome aboard, Jake

We are pleased to welcome Jake Campbell into the New Writing North team. Jake will be joining us for the next five months as part of the Changemakers scheme. He is a published poet, and will be leading a writing project which explores the notion of “being a young person in uncertain times”. He will work with young people from a diverse range of organisations in Newcastle and Northumberland, with the aim of producing a collection of creative writing which captures their concerns.
Changemakers is a national organisation which aims to unlock the leadership potential of young people aged 16-25 by putting them in real-life work situations and to enhance the way organsiations work with young people. For more information, see www.changemakers.org.uk.
