Writers’s survey 2015

Thanks to everyone who took part in the writers’ survey 2015. It is incredibly useful for us to have an insight into the areas in which writers feel they need our support. We want to invest resources in supporting writers to develop skills that will move them forward professionally, and the results of the survey will help inform this. Some stats which really stood out for us were that 89% of respondents wanted to improve the quality of their writing; 88% would like advice on dealing with publishers and agents; 82%, advice on running a successful writer’s blog; and 80%, advice on using social media to promote their work. The full results of the survey will be published on our website in due course.
