World Writes is a multilingual creative writing group for people aged 16+ who are non-native English speakers.

Facilitated by Mymona Bibi, members are encouraged and supported to think and write creatively, whilst developing their existing English language skills and enjoying multilingualism.

We welcome English speakers of all levels to express themselves in their mother tongue and explore the creative possibilities of connecting different native languages and English.

Current dates: 4 November, 11 November, 18 November, 25 November, 2 December, 13 January, 20 January, 27 January, 3 February, 10 February, 17 February, 3 March, 10 March, 17 March, 24 March, 31 March, 7 April.

Open call: Join a multilingual creative exchange project!

World Writes invites you to take part in a series of online workshops celebrating and exploring language in new and creative ways. You’ll engage with writers around the world to create work on the theme of ‘cities’.

Open to anyone who speaks more than one language, writes at any level, and is based anywhere in the world!
