Becka White
Narrative non-fiction, journalism, social justice.

Becka White lives in south-east London. She works as a human rights researcher, campaigner, and mum of two. In 2021 she won a place on New Writing North’s inaugural A Writing Chance programme.
She has been published in TES magazine, the New Statesman, LSE Engenderings, The Selkie, The Bee Magazine, and featured in the 2022 BBC Sounds podcast Margins to Mainstream. In 2025 her writing was shortlisted for the Alpine Fellowship Writing Prize.
Becka won a Spread The Word London Writers Award in 2022, in the narrative non-fiction cohort. She is currently working on her first book.
Becka was part of the 2021/22 cohort of A Writing Chance.
